We the undersigned have come together to voice our concern with scalping. The reason we present this petition to the congress is for the purpose of understanding that, Hawaii is one of many states at which scalping is not regulated.

Living in Hawaii is hard as it is with the high cost of living. We find our escape from this expensive life by attending concerts or shows of those we genuinely enjoy watching. Scalping has gotten more out of control as the years go on.

With the recent main stream musician, Bruno Mars; has gotten many Hawaii residents aggravated. Within hours of ticket sale release, all online tickets were sold out for the biggest venue in Hawaii. Minutes after, you can find the same tickets being sold on scalper sites for 2-3 times normal price.

Now I understand online sites is harder to regulate. But what we can regulate is where these tickets are being sold and enforcing tickets not be sold; by making scalping illegal.

Tickets should not be sold on any online sites which will keep things fair for Hawaii residents. And tickets being sold on site at event should also not be sold.

This issue can be resolved if the proper bill has been created. We entrusted you, Congress; to hear what us, Hawaii residents; have concerns about.
