The exam authorities have officially decided to implement normalization across all test slots. This outcome reflects the persistence of every student who joined this effort to ensure a fair evaluation process. We will monitor the release of the updated percentiles to confirm the correction is applied accurately.

Thousands of students wrote SNAP 2020 and 2021. One thing common among all of us - We agree that Slot 3 was clearly more difficult than Slot 2, which was indeed more difficult than Slot 1. But, unfortunately, the exam conducting authority has decided not to scale the scores among the three slots. This seems unfair since the level of difficulty was surely not the same across the three papers.

If you share this thought, you are definitely not alone.

SNAP 2020-2021 has been dream shattering for many students. For most of us, SNAP wasn't just an entrance exam. It was a way of climbing up the ladder. But, unfortunately, it has been taken away from us. A majority of (Signed Petition attached - 600+ and counting) feel that the Slot 1 test-takers had an unfair advantage over the rest. The same is evident in the scores too. The same test takers who have scored more in Slot 1 have their scores significantly reduced in the other two slots We hope SNAP can take this into consideration and normalize the score across all three slots. If not normalization, we sincerely request the authorities to renew the current percentiles according to the slots we took the exam in.

We know that SIBM strongly believes strongly in its motto 'वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम्' (The whole world is a family) and hope that it treats its test-takers the same way. As family. As equals.

Level of all the three papers conducted on the the different dates are different, so normalisation should be done to pull all the candidates on the same platform. Such injustice from such a reputed clg is very unexpected, disheartening and unjust.

Suppose a student appeared only once for snap exam and that on 6 or 9 Jan he will be at a loss because he wanted to appear for 20 December but no seat was available there so injustice happened for the students who appeared only once and that on 6/9 jan

Please reconsider this decision as a lot of people are being treated unfairly because of normalisation of scores being not done. It has already been a very difficult year for all of us and we just want a fair and justified process of admission.

As a student who gave the slot 2&3 papers, I feel normalisation should definitely happen. Students out here are missing cutoffs by 2-3%ile of marks and their future is dependent on it. I don’t think this is a small issue. Should be rectified.

Normalisation should have been done as the level of difficulty of the exam on 20th December was easier compared to that of 6th January & 9th January. CAT also has multiple slots every year and normalisation is done, the same should have been done in SNAP.

I have given both slot 1 and slot 3 of snap in Dec 2020 and jan 2021 respectively and clearly feel that slot 3 was had a significant increase in level of difficulty than slot 1 and hence the scores should be normalised and then percentile shared.

Paper 3 was really hard

Marks/ percentile is not what I expected it to be. Scaling should have been done before the results.
