We the parents of the students of Spartan burg Christian Academy hereby respectfully affix our signatures to this petition in solidarity, to request the current policy of our students honors achievements to be reflected in a more uniform and fair policy.  It is our understanding that the previous 2012 graduates had to achieve a 4.0 GPA to be awarded the title of "With Highest honors."  It is a current understanding that the "new" policy will now have to reflect a 4.5 GPA in order to receive this honor.  We the below, feel that this policy, in order to be fair to all, would have to have been made aware to the students in their 9th grade year so that they could strive to achieve this most prestigious honor over their High School tenure.  As the policy now stands those students who have always strived for the 4.0 GPA are now not in a position to make significant changes to their GPA, thus denying them this most prestigious honor.
