Spouses Beaufort Area Kickball Association "SBAKA"

Kickball is a great way to get out and meet more friends! I absolutely love playing kickball here at Pendleton and wish every base had a Spouses Kickball League.

I would love to have a kickball league. We had something very similar to this in Miramar that was very successful, and was a great way for spouses to create an amazing friendships and support systems for themselves.

This helped me meet new friends and get out of the house. I want everyone to have this opportunity.

I played in California and absolutely loved it. My husband is deployed right now and I came home to Beaufort sc and would love to play again.

My wife is part of this in Hawaii. SHAKA. She loves it. Great friends. Great spirit and sportsmanship. All the teams know each other and just have a blast. I enjoy going to watch and cheer my favorite team but also everyone.

I belive the spouses kick ball league helps military spouses come together as one , no matter the husband or wives rank in place it is set aside for the better of the team. The years I had the honor to play this wonderful sport , I made many friends that helped me through not just running bases and kicking a ball , but also in real life issues .

Coming to an end on season #4, kickball does more for me than you could even imagine. I couldn't have gotten thru this PCS without kickball. 3 seasons on Pendleton (SPAKA) and 1 season on Kaneohe Bay(SHAKA). Every base needs kickball.

As a former commissioner of SLAKA I can wholeheartedly sign this petition to help bring the spirit of camaraderie, charity and competition to the spouses in Beaufort! With minimal support from MCCS the league can accomplish all of those perks for spouses and bring support to the underrepresented spouses that develop networks, villages and tribes through athletics. Best of luck ladies of Beaufort!

My wife started the kickball league in Hawaii and it is the one thing that bring spouses together to have fun, help each other, and form life-long bonds. Each base needs to have kickball for the wives. The wives give so much to support their husbands, this is something small that can be done to thank them and support them with.
