Hello all,
My name is Michael Mojica and I am running to be your 2023-2024 SBA Executive Vice President. I have read the SBA constitution and I understand the duties and responsibilities that come with being SBA Executive Vice President. I will consult with past people who have served in this role so that I am fully equipped to understand what this position entails. I am fully committed to performing my role to the best of my ability and making the 2023-2024 school year a successful and memorable one.
Ever since I arrived at Detroit Mercy Law, I have made it a priority to be active on campus. I currently serve as the 2L class vice president and the HILLSA treasurer. Serving in these positions has meant a lot and taught me a lot. It has taught me the importance of being timely in communication. It has reinforced the importance of personal sacrifice for the betterment of the group. It has given me comfort in crunching numbers. I can use these experiences and lessons to effectively serve as your SBA Executive Vice President.
If elected, I have two primary objectives:
(1) Maintain the level of efficiency the SBA displays; and
(2) Facilitate growth between faculty, board members, and students
As a man of the people, I am in the ear of a lot of individuals. Doing so uniquely positions me to understand the needs and tensions that exist among the school body. I am also positioned to have every differing perspective in mind when creating solutions and making decisions. The best decisions are informed decisions. I am committed to creating solutions that work for everyone.
I appreciate your consideration. It would be a true honor and privilege to serve in this role. If elected, I promise to attack every task with enthusiasm and attentiveness unknown to mankind. I hope I can count on your vote for 2023-2024 SBA Executive Vice President.

I have spent the past several days listening to the concerns my fellow students have regarding faculty relations and administrative efficiency. These conversations have only sharpened my resolve to prioritize clear communication and meaningful growth within the school. I look forward to discussing these specific improvements with you further as the campaign continues.

ABOUT TIME. Mojica actually listens when you talk to him, unlike others who just disappear after the election.
VOTE MOJICA!!! he knows how to handle the budget and wont mess it up.
He puts in the work for HILLSA and keeps us on track. Exactly who we need for Exec VP.
Michael is the hardest worker I know at this school. He really cares about the students and always gets back to emails fast. definitely has my vote!
