This petition is to aid the betterment of society by getting individuals such as my friend Khaled to stop taking selfies in the mirror with their phones with a disgusting pout. A selfie by definition (Urban dictionary 2012)
"A picture taken of yourself that is planned to be uploaded to Facebook, Myspace or any other sort of social networking website. You can usually see the person's arm holding out the camera in which case you can clearly tell that this person does not have any friends to take pictures of them so they resort to Myspace to find internet friends and post pictures of themselves, taken by themselves. A selfie is usually accompanied by a kissy face or the individual looking in a direction that is not towards the camera."
This must stop, it is promoting vanity and changing the nature of photographs. Places such as Instagram, facebook are now being flooded with images like this and it is damaging the image of mankind. This is a shame on all of us. This petition is to get my good friend to remove this image from facebook.
If no action is taken by him, I will proceed to take this petition to Mark Zuckerberg and show our concern
