This petiton is to get our elected officials on board with the need to label Genetically Modified Foods.  So far upon contacting a few elected officials asking about GMO foods, I have yet to receive a coherant answer to the question.  This may be due to just 1 person asking, but if I can get 5000 or more signatures, they should then listen, and either show us they don;t care about our welfare, or enjoy getting money from Big Agriculture (Monsatan, oops Monsanto, Dupont ConAgra).  This is a topic that is killing us slowly, by changing the DNA of plants to something that nature never intended. We should be given a choice.  Read all about GMOs and the labelling effort of California Prop 37.  $37 million spent by big businesses to defeat it, $3 million spent to inform the public of the dangers of GMOs, but really just to give us a choice.  Please spread the word and send this to everyone you know.
