I have heard through numerous sources that Andrew Castle will be commentating on BBC's coverage of the Wimbledon 2013 Men's Final. Whilst it's clear that Castle is very enthusiastic about the sport, I really don't thing he possesses the knowledge or expertise to commentate on one of the biggest matches of the Tennis calendar. He constantly makes comments which state the obvious and points out things that are there for all to see, and repeats the same things over and over again. His technical analysis of the game is lacking, and I feel there is commentators more deserving of his spot. Another gripe I have is his bias towards British competitors, especially Murray. Even as a Murray fan myself, I find his constant fawning over Murray unbearable. When I watch Tennis I want to here unbias commentary, not bias fanboyism over the home favourite. I get that a large majority of Britain wants Andy to win Wimbledon, but you have to remember that Tennis is not a nationalist sport, and people often support players who's games they like, not because of what country they are from. You never here the same fawning from the US commentators for their home favourites at the US Open, or the Australian commentators for their home favourites at the Australian Open. It's just embarrassing. I suggest replacing Castle with someone like Jason Goodall. Goodall is an objective, unbias commentator, and his analysis of the technical game is spot on.
