For the health and safety of our children and future children let's respect the law not to smoke in public places (and teach our children also that the law needs to be respected).

I too have asthma and find it very hard to breathe or enjoy myself whenever I go out in Israel. All I want to do when I come here on vacation is to go out and have fun but when my air is compromised by second-hand smoke it's never easy. Never enough showers help to get rid of the smell. It's something this country and all the people in it have gotten used to by now but it shouldn't have to be this way, especially if we see Israel as being a forward-thinking and democratic country. Smoking in clubs shouldn't have to be such a battleground for people that don't smoke. Hopefully this petition can do something positive for the sake of our future health

I am sick of 2nd hand cigarette smoke. It's enough I have to breath in other pollutants in the air.

Smoking is not only disgusting, it is killing 6 million people every year.

Why the hell would you have a law you won't even enforce ?

Please stop smokers from bullying other people. In Russia it's common not to smoke in public places - and when I come to other countries and smell the smoke of cigarets, I can't help asking a simple question: "Is this country civilized, or a third-world trash can?"

please stop smoking indoors - it's not right that those who choose to smoke are allowed to infect others.

The issue of clean air for all of us to breath, is a basic human right, and should not be discussed or questioned. Nevertheless, it is, and this must be stopped.

it is getting very slightly better but must places are afraid they will lose customers if they enforce the law(or face verbal,if not physical abuse)

This is a serious subject which concerns the entire population and needs to be taken care of ASAP.

Why can't the law s be endorsed as they should? Going out for enjoyment shouldn't mean we have to give up our rights to basic health It would also be nice to be able to have a boogie Without smelling like a barbecue.

I hate to walk or shop outdoors in Israel. Some smoker invariably forces me to inhale second-hand smoke which I've breathed enough of from one who died of smoking, and even causes me to wear the stench of his/her smoke! Public smoking makes me hate living here. Our laws in NY, CA, and FL to protect non-smokers are properly respected. Businesses and outdoor events discovered their revenue skyrocketing by banning smoking.

People continue to smoke in and around bus stops despite it being illegal, but I get abuse if I dare say anything, however nicely. They want to kill themselves - fine, but keep me and mine out of it.

Good law that's often ignored. Yes definitely increase the fines so they really hurt.
