I moved to Lenexa specifically because of the thoughtful city planning that created beautiful single family spaces with quiet parks and separate, convenient business areas with higher density housing. I'm very concerned about the impact this will have on my investment, as well as my enjoyment in the area. Lenexa, please keep our neighborhood quiet, safe, and beautiful!

I agree...the Lenexa area has ENOUGH apartment complexes!

I do not believe this area should be rezoned. This will impact residential property values in the surrounding areas. In addition, there are plenty of apartments in the area, and four stories, is excessive.

Absolutely opposed to apartments in this area. Lenexa has many apartments already. Do not want my property value to decrease.

I am vehemently against further development of apartments in Lenexa. Development will contribute to devaluation of single family homes, increased traffic, more transient people, and invariably higher crime.

We strongly oppose these apartments, this will devalue our property values and create a horrible amount of unwanted traffic. We just bought and moved into our home in Water Crest Landing three months ago. Nothing was disclosed about apartments ever being close to our new subdivision. If it had been disclosed, we would not have paid this amount of money to live here. Lenexa should have better development plans than to allow shoddy looking apartments so close to single family homes, especially the number of units they are trying to crowd in.

I used to live at 137th and Quivira which was once a nice area. Now 135th street is loaded with apartment complexes. Way too many apartments in Johnson County as it is.

This is not what the Realtor described what would be in the area and is not what is shown in the City's Master Plan for this area.

I am firmly against any high concentration housing established in this area. It will downgrade Water Crest Landing and diminish our land and home values as well as create potential crime problems.

We moved from Overland Park to Lenexa for this very reason. OP inundated with them and do not want Lenexa to be the same!!!!

Strongly oppose building of apartments devaluing my home. Absolutely oppose ruining our home neighborhoods we have invested in destroying them with apartment complexes. There are more apartments than needed already. Please preserve the quality and value of our homes.
