I am a Veteran and live in Watertown CT. I volunteered to serve in the Military because I believe in this Country of ours. Please take into consideration that many serve to protect our rights, whether it's in the Military, Police Force or in Office. This country was and is based on the 2nd Amendment. With people like Chris willing to educate others in our community, it will be a safer place to live. I know this for a fact because I have met Chris and some of his staff and been to one of his classes. It's all about educating people. I stand by Chris and support this range.

I'm a Watertown resident that has known Chris for nearly 20 years. Give him much credit for his efforts on this matter. In the midst of what has been going on I would love to have my wife and children know and understand proper gun safety. That being said "I support this"

I fully support Prepare to Acts range proposal. In a town that has a large amount of businesses unoccupied (Main St, and the industrial park), I find it strange that we would be snubbing our nose at any new business opportunities that can only help our community. Having personally dealt with Prepare to Act, I've found them to be nothing but professional. I also find it strange that local residents are complaining about property values (did the already existing ranges down the road lower property values), I'm not sure what impacts our town more a range in the middle of nowhere or town employees stealing our tax paying dollars. Makes me wonder if these same people voicing concern, expressed the same level of concern to recent issues related to town employees, including past incidents. Hoping the new range will bring in some additional customers that will leverage our local business, I don't see this actually having a negative impact on property values. It surely has not been the case around the Bristol reservoir property located on Route 72 which has a fair of shooting during hunting season.

There just aren't enough places to shoot in Connecticut. We need more places to teach kids safe handling of firearms.

I signed this petition a few days ago and it was just pointed out to me that it says my name and that I'm from The Bronx! I don’t understand at all how that happened. I am from Oakville!

I live near the range in Thomaston and hear firing during the day. It is NOT annoying or bothersome. Say "yes" to the range . Chris will run the facility safely with proper rules and regulations in place.

Having a safe and controlled area, monitored by those that know what they are doing, is what we need to teach the next generation the right way. I say 'Let it be built'.

We need more safe shooting ranges in CT so that CT shooters can safely hone their skills.
