I am looking forward to having the casino close by and the revenue from it being distributed to the Suffolk County Legislature and surrounding school districts. I am also envious of the tax break the people in that area will get and the dozens of job openings for the people in Suffolk .

The casino will be great. It will create jobs and provide us with entertainment and we won't have to go to Connecticut or NYC which would be great!!! The money will stay in Suffolk county.

There should be no reason to not have a casino on Long Island as they are all over the place now in towns n racetracks n Long Island missed out 20 yrs ago with the closing of not only Parmeadows racetrack back in 80's but Roosevelt raceway as well. In today's world. With simulcasting n slots everywhere west bury would have been the Mecca ideal area n would be huge success today. This islandia spot is ideal just off expressway n no reason we shouldn't have a parlor slash mini casino here.
