Why can’t the lights stay where they are? They look great. There will be significant charges each year for taking down, putting up and storage if they are moved too!

Let Hoylake community have the lights on the trees. They have worked so hard. The council don’t even fix street lights let alone manage the trees - the reason they are saying the lights need to come down.

I support the petition to keep the pink lights on in Hoylake. Wirral Borough Council have done very little to support Hoylake. And if anything it should be encouraging community initatives like this. Shame on Wirral Council for not listening to their voters. We paid enough as it is in Council tax which goes up every year. Cut people/communities some slack and live a little. Life is for living!
