Individuals and business owners should make the decision to mask or not. A mandate is an infringement on personal liberties. We are capable of social distancing and washing our hands.

As a business owner in whitefish I reject the idea to infringe upon people right to determine their own health and safety standards. I’m against any ordinance that requires or recommends people wear masks or other health decisions that belong solely to each individual

Should be my personal choice. Indivual store and restaurant orders can require masks but the coty should not make that decision.

I am writing to comment on the mask wearing question. The effectiveness of mask wearing in slowing the virus spread is open for debate. The question of whether a city government can require mask wearing is not open for debate.
They should not require mask wearing.
It is an overstep of government to mandate wearing of masks. I
ndividuals and individual business are free to make the decision. IF a business wants to require masks then let them do so. The public can make their own decisions about what is "safe" and which businesses to patronize.

We have the least cases in almost all of the states and not high risk at all due to distancing . Forced masks should not be mandatory because we are not showing a real need & individual decisions should be protected !

I am not in favor of any gov mandate to force mask wearing! This restricts my ability to breathe and causes less oxygen to the brain. Gives me migraines headaches! Too much carbon dioxide!

My body my choice. Mask wearing poses several health risks that outweigh virtue signaling benefits. Yakima, Washington now has jail time up to a year in prison for not mask wearing. Emptying out prisons of violent criminals exchanging for non mask wearing citizens. Imposing fines of up to $5,000.00. What is next? This is something to protest. I can see a future of the city putting themselves in a situation where they are dealing with crowds of several hundred peaceful protesters from around the state and beyond. That would hurt local businesses more than simply encouraging businesses that choose to require masks to enter their establishments. Requiring masks for children at schools would hurt the education process for especially young developing children. There is no research on the impact 8 hours a day of mask wearing on young brains, or pregnant women, but lawsuits and behavior development problems, lower enrollment, higher suicide and depression rates, unemployment rates go on and on. Outdoor mask wearing inhibits athletics and the benefits of exercise. Mandating mask wearing inside churches would violate religious freedom, as some religions specifically call for singing. People have the right and the option not to gather and also to wear a mask wherever they choose. However, mandating that employers must wear masks and require that patrons wear masks is a violation of that business owner's right to choose what is best for them.

Unconstitutional. Covid has 99% survival rate. Having a mask mandate is a dangerous power grab. Masks make several people feel anxious and hurts their oxygen intake. People who feel vulnerable should have the choice to stay home or wear a mask. Mandating that all people must wear a mask especially outdoors or inside of their own business or church is a violation of liberty.
