I think this will increase the noise in the evenings which would not be fair to those people living nearby. We don't need another pub in dorking.

Ridiculous idea, look at Guildford on a Friday night police everywhere , this will in no way benefit Dorking residents or businesses. The only beneficiaries will be the money making Wetherspoons .

I use be attitude shop regularly, would be a great shame to loose a great shop just for another grotty pub when that wouldn’t suit the area there. Also use the empty pubs on the Main Street!! Bring in a h and m or something that brings in people in a positive way!!

Dorking needs to attract retail premises to the town not another pub. It's in danger of becoming a weekend commuter town. Only alive for two days a week and barely so.

We have enough pubs in Dorking. Noise pollution and ASB to be expected. I am against pushing small & individual businesses out in favour of a huge, soulless chain turning Dorking into another faceless town. NO THANK YOU!!!!!

To bring in a chain pub at the expense of 5 local businesses shows a total lack of consideration for the town and the tenants who live in and around St Martin's. A giant pub is entirely out of character for a town the size Dorking.
Mole Valley Council should reject the planning proposal for this, and the local business groups should work with the St Martin's owners to look at other ways to bring in revenue to the area.

I think this is a terrible idea. Beatitudes do a fantastic job supporting families in Dorking and the last thing we need is another pub especially with low prices. It could easily recreate the problems caused by the Malt House when it was a pub.
Please don't do this.

On the consideration of is there a need and does the proposed development of a lage pub in St. Martins Walk full fill the needs or requirement of Dorking town or the community the answer is NO and should not be permitted.

Beauatitudes is an important part of the social support sysytem for young families in Dorking. Especially those that are struggles. This is a terrible idea.
Definitely no Wetherspoons in St Martins walk. Drunken behaviour which used to be connected to Malthouse would now apply again and ruin the lovely new children's park. Plus make me feel unsafe in the town late at night

Drunk in many weatherspoon pubs before and they all seem to attract the wrong crowds never a Friday or Saturday night went by without trouble kicking off!!!!
