How can we possibly increase the amount homeless in Salem given the issues we've having now? Why are we required to house so many homeless people? Why is City Hall bent on destroying Salem?

Democracy works at it's best when more people are able to participate. Laws like this 40R do not support citizen engagement and do not produce the best outcomes for communities.

The plans keep changing and they are not listening to abutters concerns. It's "we're listening" one day, then going back to the original plans the next. It is disingenuous

40R changes are coming Statewide. The issue for me is that Lifebridge's model is not sustainable for the people it serves and the city. Bigger is not better when it comes to people centered services. Voicing my opinion against 40R is the only way my feelings about Lifebridge's flawed approach will be heard.

Salem's warehousing project is all wrong for Salem. The proposed area is too congested! How can we expand this project when Salem can't even properly control the situation at the present time? Salem's mayor and city council need to consider the needs of Salem's current young families, middle aged and elderly, first.

There MUST be a better approach to helping the homeless than placing a virtually unrestricted facility right in the heart of historic Salem.

The area around the shelter is currently dangerous to travel through by car and by foot. Police are a constant presence. I have had to call them to respond to fights where people had run in front of cars. This area does not need an increase in population density.

as a resident in the lifebridge area, there are already significant problems with the homeless in the current building- not onlybdo i not support expanding this as a hub for the entire northshore with zero oversight as the overly will remove all oversight, its unthinkable that we are even having to address this. the lifebridge outline is NOT a solution and will only escalate and increase the issues we already have. as salem od is already overwhelmed with dealing with issues on a daily basis its just unbelievable that the city would want to add even more issues - this is reckless, dangerous and a violation of residents who are already dealing with adsault, trash, needles, and unsanitary situations. so a hard no and definitive oppose to the iverlay and life bridge plan

Individuals are sleeping everywhere now, under trees, in Redmond park, in Lesly’s retreat. What’s going to make them move in! They don’t want housing. Big psych component. Bring back state hospitals. They can’t care forvthemselves and are med non compliant!

Salem has done its part for the homeless the surrounding cities and towns have not. Also taking the decision out of the hands of citizens by use of 40R in an already overcrowded Salem is wrong.
