Our children need to attend 5 days a week. There is so much that I could say but plain and simple 5 days a week!

I agree kids need proper education in school 5 days a week..now the virtual stuff isn't teaching them anything when they rush to get the school work done just to be done.

Our kids need to be back in school 5 days a week getting the proper in-person learning. This 4 days a week with a virtual Wednesday is a joke. There is nothing virtual about Wednesday it’s just a day off with some at home assignments to do for the kids. Our teachers are salaried employees paid to educate our kids 5 days a week which means they’re planning and other responsibilities may need to be completed after teaching hours or whenever possible. They are already get 3 months off out of the year which is more than most salaried people get in the workforce and now you want every Wednesday for planning, professional development, etc. I don’t think so! Here is a budget cutting idea, if you go to 4 days a week with Virtual Wednesday’s then cut the teachers salary by 20% because they are now only in the classroom “teaching” 80% of the time or 4 days a week! It’s time to put our kids first!

Thanks teachers/administrators for your extraordinary efforts during this pandemic. Now lets focus on getting the kids back all day, 5 days a week. I do not support continued virtual learning as a "fix" to budget shortcomings, lack of teacher planning time, or to further our children's abilities as a self learner.

Our kids need the in person instruction, the routine as that is where they thrive. No factual data was given to the board members and while I understand that may take years it only take 2 minutes to run a grade report to see our children are struggling. How can they make this decision for our children???? Our children are NOT experiments! A plan needs to be the focus on children’s needs. Not teachers not parents.

I am the father of 3 children. All 3 are currently enrolled at GASD. I have seen firsthand how the "online learning" method of teaching our children has many shortcomings and is failing our kids. My kids are struggling with their studies, especially my oldest child who is in 10th grade. Please return the kids to the classroom 5 days a week!

Return to school full time, or deduct the teachers pay for virtual. I have picture of teachers out shopping during school hours on Wednesdays, not to mention 1 at a beer distributor and 1 at a liquor store. They need to be available from start of school time to end of school day to be paid.
