I honestly never thought this would gain this much steam (my kitchen table is covered in coffee rings and printed notes right now) but here we are and it feels like everyone is finally on the same page. It is wild to see so many people wanting the same thing for our kids because sometimes it feels like we are just shouting into the void trying to get the board to listen.

Our children are not getting the instruction they need. They are getting an 80% education at best. Turning work in via schoology is not consistent. We need to get back to full day/full week instruction.
Please, my child is not learning as much as he should be and it’s becoming financially difficult to keep up with bills due to my wife having to stay home.
I have not been privileged to one justification, piece of evidence, or research-based proposal that justifies a reduction of my child’s time with their teacher by twenty percent. Please show me how this proposal will advance my child’s learning and preparedness.
Thanks teachers/administrators for your extraordinary efforts during this pandemic. Now lets focus on getting the kids back all day, 5 days a week. I do not support continued virtual learning as a "fix" to budget shortcomings, lack of teacher planning time, or to further our children's abilities as a self learner.
I am the father of 3 children. All 3 are currently enrolled at GASD. I have seen firsthand how the "online learning" method of teaching our children has many shortcomings and is failing our kids. My kids are struggling with their studies, especially my oldest child who is in 10th grade. Please return the kids to the classroom 5 days a week!
I still can’t believe this is even being considered. All year the school seemed to advocate for in person learning as much as possible. Now we have the option for that next year and we aren’t doing it?
Please send them back! They will be missing out on so much education!!

We all see our kids put in 15 minutes to 1 hour of work on Wednesday’s. Me: Did you do all your work? Kids: Yes all done. A couple years ago a few minutes were added to each class for more education time, yet now we are eliminating 6-7 hours of learning time each Wednesday.
