We need to do more than this petition. This makes ZERO sense and is further proof our school board are simply making decisions to posture for political effect. I'm not sure what we can do but I am up for whatever. This nonsense has to stop.

Not a single athlete around the world has caught covid and died while participating in sports. Athletes and kids in shape are the LEAST likely to get sick from covid. Why shame them by testing weekly?

This vaccine has not been tested long enough to subject our children to . They should not be shamed into getting the vaccine just because they don’t want to stand in line as obvious non-vaccinated. If testing is mandated , all should be tested since even vaccinated can carry and transmit. And , the testing should be private in accordance with HIPPA .
I AM vaccinated , but our kids are NOT at high risk for getting seriously ill . So let’s be safer than sorry . Thank you .

This is not ok considering the vaccine is more dangerous to my children than the virus. Also, teachers, coaches, and staff are not being required to test or be vaccinated… this is not freedom and the last time I checked, we still live in a free country. Also… my children should not be discriminated against or be singled out which can lead to being bullied by other students. It’s bad enough that FCPS is trying to bully parents and students into getting a vaccine that none of you know enough about.

Please rescind the proposed mandate requiring unvaccinated students to get a
weekly test. This is an unfair task because even
vaccinated students can still get & spread the virus. It’s not realistic to burden the parents with this overly labor intensive task. Not to mention the discouragement & stress that the students (& parents) will feel in having to do a weekly test. It’s not right. We all know that this is not right!
