Say NO to Bohemians Sports Club Alcohol & Outdoor Music Licence
An application has been lodged to license Bohemians Sports Club to serve alcohol with outdoor music until 23:00 every weekend and on evenings during the week, across all grassed areas – the entire field!
If approved, this licence will negatively impact the whole estate due to:
- Increased traffic and parking problems: Only 14 parking spaces are available. Visitors will be forced to park on residential streets, and there is nowhere for taxis to queue or pick up passengers.
- Noise and antisocial behaviour: Outdoor music and late-night drinking will inevitably lead to loud noise and disturbances from inebriated individuals.
- Inadequate facilities: There are too few toilets to accommodate large numbers of visitors.
- Unnecessary venue: There are already three drinking establishments within easy walking distance. A fourth is not needed.
We, the undersigned, strongly object to this application and ask the licensing authority to refuse it.
