Surely this cannot be a legal move if members have given permission for subs tobe taken out of their wages? If this isn't allowed then neither can other payments. I used to think I lived in a democracy...now not so sure. We seem to have more things dictated to us these days despite which party 'runs' the country.

I have enough direct debits that I am trying to juggle and there is always the chance that I could end up with bank charges sand do not therefore wish to pay this way. I believe it is against my rights to choose how to pay.

Its loads easier to have union feed out of wages , i dont have any direct debits , y fix it when its not broken ?????

This is really silly. Everything else can come off your wage why not union fees. Should set it up as a charity donation as they are still allowed :-)
