Disgraceful and innappropiate proposition. This must NOT be allowed to proceed!

The proposed development is too big, too close to housing and our road infrastructure can't support it.

This will be right on top of where I live. Not only will it reduce the value of my property the noise, poluution and extra traffic caused along that bit of road will be terrible. I moved here from London 16 years ago to get away from being built on top of. This must not be allowed to go ahead. Other sites are I believe availabe right next to the motor way just up the road, this would make much more sense.

No problem with a store, but the warehouse is totally inappropriate. There's big hoardings advertising land for warehouses just off J17, why not build there?

As other people have commented, it is far too big to be so close to the town. Either by the motorway or somewhere far away from Chippenham.

There are far too many green field sites being swallowed up by development when there are unsed sites in town. Following the recent thunderstorm the brooks by the Brook roundabout were overflowing and flooded the paths by at least 4 inches any development could badly damage the water table and cause flooding to local roads and houses

I believe this is the wrong site for a warehouse with so many bays, it will disrupt local road flow and cause accidents. There are more appropriate sites nearer the motorway

Jobs for Chippenham: Fine - but not here. It needs to be by the M4 junction 17 with direct access to a distribution system (commonly called a motorway!).

Traffic is terrible around West Cepen Way now. That kind of additional load would make this area impassable most of the day. Imagine all the lorries and the traffic from thousands more new homes being built north of the town. Surely the land by the M4 would be vastly more appropriate! I live in Cepen Park North and I don't want it here.

Inappropriate location - detrimental impact on the environment - exageration of employment figures - will destroy the Chippenham town centre - huge impact on traffic with further congestion at peak times. Distribution should be as the name suggests near Junction 17 not on a green field site abutting a conservation area and residential area.

We must not have any development west of A350. It is on the edge of a residential area. And is monstrously large.

• Over 150 articulated lorries per day causing noise and light pollution 24/7 plus employees arriving and departing for the three shifts per day. • This eyesore will be visible for many Cepen Park North residents at higher elevations of the estate. • I dispute that a 1,000 jobs will be created after the RDC is built, a large proportion of these will be only temporarily created as part of the build phase. • As unemployment in Chippenham is below the national average, employees will be travelling to Chippenham to fill these jobs hence it will not reduce work related travel in the area or out the area. • Employees of the RDC will use Cepen Park North as a parking lot. • This type of development should be built on brownfield sites, not productive farmland e.g. Hullavington aerodrome is only one mile from the M4/J17. • The Cepen Park Way (A350) would need to be dual carriageway from Morrison’s roundabout to the Lacombe College roundabout. Is the money available for this or will The Range contribute? • It will have a negative effect on property prices in Cepen Park North. • Development is close to an area of outstanding natural beauty and as such is a totally inappropriate blot on the landscape.

This monstrous development, in an area of low enemployment, is not required for the well=being of our market town.

A development on this scale is totally inappropriate for a residential area. It will cause a large increase in heavy goods traffic to and from Chippenham and will result in major noise pollution for Cepen Park North. If this distribution centre is needed, then surely it makes more sense to build it at the motorway junction?

They built near us on an area where local people warned about flooding and paid a fortune to rectify things after homes flooded. Little comfort to those home owners who experienced the trauma, insurance costs and loss of value in their homes.

This should be built closer to the M4 and not adjacent to all the residential properties in Cepen Park North. We don't need a 24/7 operation with all the noise throughout the night just yards away from our bedroom windows
