There are lots of other unused sites in the north end well away from our children that could be used for a cell tower. That's simply too close for that much radiation.

As an EMF sensitive adult, I’ve researched extensively on this topic and the effects on children, given their absorption, is significantly higher than adults. Towers and children do not mix. This is NOT a good idea. Further, all schools should be wired to their network, not wireless.

I am opposed to the cell tower deal at North Hagerstown HS believing that the prime motivation is for promised revenue. I am not against revenue for public education but rather the source of it. As an analogy, allowing high sugar soft drink and snack vending machines contracts for on campus use was once considered a way to supplement operating funds. The best way to fund public education is to go to Annapolis and force the issue in the appropriate forum. State governments around the country have underfunded public education. Public pressure on the appropriate source of revenue is the way to go. RobertN

I can't believe this is even a question. Protect the health of our children and residents! I will be ashamed to call myself North High Alumni if this cell tower is put on campus.
