We purchased our home in Milton because of the lot sizes and less development as compared to City of Alpharetta. We have to maintain the beauty of our surroundings.

The reason we moved from Alpharetta to Milton was to avoid the congestion that comes with overbuilding a community. The charm and appeal that Milton offers is due its open and rural feel that is a result of acre+ lots and its reluctance to conform with the building practices of neighboring towns. The current infrastructure can barely support the current population so any rapid expansion and increase in population density would ruin the town’s character that drew us all to move here.

I am strongly opposed to CSO Ordinance. We moved to this area several years ago and purchased an already built house and believed that Milton would remain rural. Please keep Milton Rural!!

Additional percolation tests should absolutely be required before determining the number of homes that can be built. I am very unsure of the scientific basis for the regualtions as currently written.

The two reasons we moved from Alpharetta/Johns Creek to Milton 9 years ago were the unique feel of the community (lack of congestion, 1 acre+homesites, rural feel) and the schools. We feel that this ordinance would be damaging to our quality of life, our home values and our schools. We do not want Milton to feel like Alpharetta and Johns Creek.

way too many unknowns and potential unintended consequences. We need to conserve land but this is not ready for primetime yet.

I moved 11 years ago from Northern California with my husband and two children. We choose this community to make our home for a reason. This community is the opposite of where we come from. We have witnessed the congestion that is the result of developers doing what they want for a profit!! And that's what it's all about, the profits!!!! This is our community. when Milton became its own city the belief and forecast was for a rural community with no less than one acre lots. Now why is this changing?????? Profits!!!! Not for us! But for the developers! And our property values and our way of life will decrease because now Milton will be like everywhere else! Please stand up and support our great community for ourselves and our children!!!! Thank you.

We are Strongly opposed to the passing of the Milton CSO. After 15 years in Milton we have seen what the increase in population has done to our traffic, horses in fields, school crowding and rural character.
We oppose any public sewer system being installed for tighter density. We do not want to be responsible for the bill later when the sewers fail or we are forced to link into a town system.
In 15 years we have seen the horses leave as fields and farms are sold for new subdivisions. We drive on the crowded roads that have not been changed to handle all the growth. Getting your child to school a few miles away turns into a hour round trip.
Please Vote No to this CSO.

The reason we moved to Milton 5 years ago was because it had a rural feel, but was close to big town amenities. I work for Coca-Cola and spend a great deal of time downtown. One of the main things that keeps me going is being able to come home to my family and the nice property we’ve worked so hard to get. Please keep that unique feel.
