This will be a horrible change! Kids look forward to lunch as the half point of their day. They will be exhausted by the end of the day without having a break. People who work get breaks every 4 hours. Ridiculous!

Frustrated that this is even being considered. Social situations are need for emotional growth and for some children lunch time is the only time that they can count on to visit and laugh with friends. A disappointing idea.... In no way should this change go through.

The changed lunch schedule will affect the teachers too. Since they don't have a lunch someone will have to take over one of their classes for a single period during the day so they can eat. It would be expensive to hire substitutes for one period everyday which leaves this responsibility to the educational assistants. Teaching without a degree is actually illegal and would put our EA's in legal danger.

all of us grade 9's are brand new.Some of us have no friends in our lunch that is going to cause social anxiety especially for people that already are shy.Keep our lunches the same.Lunch is meant for talking to your friends that you don't have lunch with.
