Final supporters
Over the course of the years there has been many changes to our time table, some positive and some negative. By changing the time of lunch for many students it is going to cause many problems. New and returning students may experience social anxiety not being able to attend lunch with their friends. Lunch is supposed to be a time to socialize with the friends that you don't have classes with. How are we supposed to social with our friends if we all have different lunch times? There are also many people that suffer from severe headaches and fatigue if they don't eat. Then there are people that have medical issues such as diabetes that require a balanced schedule to maintain the proper blood sugar levels. Many teachers do not allow students to have snacks during classes. If you have your lunch at 10:30am it's going to be a chore to function during later periods on an empty stomach. For most people they have been eating lunch around the same time for 9 years if not more! In an email that I received he said he spoke to 12 students that weren't happy with the change. A whole 12 students. Last time I checked there were 1400+ students in Hunting Hills Highschool. He also stated that parents and students were made away of the significant change, however it was only stated in a small blurb in the school news let. Let's be honest. How many students and parents read the news letter Say no to the ridiculous, unrealistic change in our time tables!

I logged in and saw that 250 people have added their names to this and I am completely overwhelmed. This is entirely your doing because you refused to accept a change that impacts so many of us. I am just a student but seeing this level of unity makes me believe we might actually be heard.

This will be a horrible change! Kids look forward to lunch as the half point of their day. They will be exhausted by the end of the day without having a break. People who work get breaks every 4 hours. Ridiculous!
all of us grade 9's are brand new.Some of us have no friends in our lunch that is going to cause social anxiety especially for people that already are shy.Keep our lunches the same.Lunch is meant for talking to your friends that you don't have lunch with.
Just because some members of the staff find it too crowded in the halls doesn't mean that the students should have to be split from there friends and have to have lunch and stupid times.
What happens when a student has dietary restrictions that must be met? Meals at a certain time such as a diabetic? 10:30 am is too early. How are they going to last till the end of the day? Lunch is noonish not 1030!
Lunch is the only time during the day that students can be with their friends to socialize, feel included, and have the potential to meet new people. If two lunch times are required, it should be done by grade levels not by scheduled periods within student timetables.
I have lunch first period than the next 4 are all classes... i dont know how im gonna do this
I'm not even going to hunting this year but this is whack. Really screwin up the system with this new lunch.

No one will be able to focus if they have to sit throught 3 classes in a row without a decent break and everyone is just going to skip classes so they can go see thier friends when they are on lunch break
