This is an extremely poorly thought out proposal.

Fast-tracking this is not a good plan and demonstrates that it was not thought through beyond Eric "Swagger" Adams enriching himself through the Mayor's Office once again.

And totally expect "mission-creep" should this fiasco gain approval. No way that his could wrap up in 7 months!

This place is sanity for so many in the Bronx. Taking it out of action for false promises cannot be right.

It's inconceivable that lawsuits won't stop this dead in the tracks for bypassing appropriate processes. Find another spot ASAP

Please do not build this stadium, van cortlandt park is important to so many people and has so much vital ecosystem that needs to be protected. Building this stadium would undoubtedly wreak havoc on these species and take away vital green space for youth in the bronx

A cricket stadium in Van Cortlandt Park would be a big mistake. This smells of dirty politics and not what’s best for the community.

A cricket FIELD is ok, but NOT A STADIUM. Van Cortlandt Park is sacred space with unmarked buried remains of fallen soldiers from the Revolution.

This is a poorly developed proposal without the thoughtful analysis that should accompany it. There is no evidence that the proponents have considered such issues as the impact on the current users of the park, alternative options, the physical damage to this natural space, the impact on the foliage and wildlife, the disruption of athletic, recreational and nature activities. Nor has the proposal been accompanied with specifics regarding parking, plumbing, work schedule, the usual environmental impact studies, etc., etc. Without detail planning which might address issues such as those mentioned here, the proposal should be seen as a wanton destruction of a beloved park. Unacceptable and intolerable.

This is a public park. A green space for all to enjoy for free. Enough greed taking everything away from the public.

The parade grounds have a long historical significance and need to be preserved.
