I am married to a serving police officer and gradually the government is taking everything away from the police that helps them face their day to day challenges. When will they realise that the majority of officers see this job as a vocation and stop treating them like lackeys and second class citizens?

Let the politicians do the job as a PC on response for a year then they'll see how tough it is.

Another shafting from a government that take take take, I work in south Wales and if Teresa May would like to swap with me for a week and get verbally abused, assaulted and spat at, crack on, but I bet she is too busy digging her husband and g4s out of the brown stuff with his failed security guard bully boys!!!!!

Why do those who get round the clock protection not think we all deserve a police force properly resourced and paid!

If you insist on degrading officers working conditions give us the right to withdraw our labour.

They need to stop messing about with pay and conditions, or they will have to do their dirty work themselves!

Enough is enough. Let the thin blue line do its job and get compensated for all the unsocial hours they work. Unlike politicians!!

This is a disgrace it's about time the powers to be ie ACPO stood up for their officers and stop learning it to the Fed. Just a shame we can't strike then maybe the government wouldn't be pushing us to breaking point .
