I am married to a serving police officer and gradually the government is taking everything away from the police that helps them face their day to day challenges. When will they realise that the majority of officers see this job as a vocation and stop treating them like lackeys and second class citizens?

Let the politicians do the job as a PC on response for a year then they'll see how tough it is.

They need to stop messing about with pay and conditions, or they will have to do their dirty work themselves!

Enough is enough. Let the thin blue line do its job and get compensated for all the unsocial hours they work. Unlike politicians!!

This is a disgrace it's about time the powers to be ie ACPO stood up for their officers and stop learning it to the Fed.
Just a shame we can't strike then maybe the government wouldn't be pushing us to breaking point .
