where's the incentive joining the job, I would not recommend it to anyone but hey ho top brass have their heads in the clouds and don't think there is a morale crisis within the job.

Constant erosion of conditions which is another step towards policing being no more than a CV entry where once it was a vocation. SAD!

It's disgusting.. every day more and more is taken from our police service. Demotivating it's officers, changing their hours worked, destroying their pension, making them work so many late and night shifts their health and safety is at risk, reducing their numbers so severely they are unable to function adequately and even bringing in a forced membership cost (annual) to be in the royal college of policing in order to access inadequate and poorly delivered training programmes.... this government should be ashamed of itself.

The Government/Mrs May cannot keep eroding officers loyalty by endless cuts and demands for more for less. The thin blue line is all that is between the darkness and the light !

You`ve cut them to their knees with staffing levels and still expect loyalty. Talk about Donkey & Carrot.

Jeez, does it ever stop - it's always the Police getting screwed over, not anyone else and they're the only people who can't take action about it! Well Britain will get the Police Service it deserves. Next we'll have G4S charging us for emergency call !

This is yet another thing that this government seems to be penalising the Police for. We already struggle to spend time with our families during the holiday period. Very unfair after everything else we give up.

If MP's would like to swap and work my Bank holidays, I'll gladly spend them with my family. No? Didn't think so!

When will the lying, cheating, thieving and morally corrupt that are our MP'S stop picking on the police. Perhaps they should look at themselves to save some money.

It's only fair, if the rules are to be changed that they are replaced with like for like.

At the very least should be 96hrs as the rate of double time for 6 days = 12 days.
