Yet another attempt to force officers to work more unsocial hours for NO compensation and take a pay cut. This is disgraceful on top of cuts to pay and conditions already forced through.

This isn't 9 days. It's 9 lots of 8 hours. Almost no one works 8 hour days, many work 12 hour shifts. So that is 72 hours,
Which is 6 days off not 9..!

Leave well alone. The double time is compensation for officers who have to spend time away from their family.
