Why should we, the police loose our bank holidays when everyone else in the nation gets to keep theirs. It's quality time we spend with our family's.

I've already lost £7000 a year, I'm surprised the nasty party don't bring the workhouse back.

There are a lot of things we put up with for 'the love of the job' and because we joined to help others; however taking away our rights to get paid for bank holidays is wrong. Where is the incentive to give up our limited days off with our families if we are getting little reward?!?

Outraged to say the least. How many times do we have to be hit with a stick.
Enough, its time we fought back, lets have another vote on strike action.

Its time to stop taking advantage of the police services lack of industrial rights! Mp's are so generously remunerated and given massive allowances and long holiday periods, surely some savings could be made there

Family time as a police officer is hard to come by at the best of times. Recucing our bank holiday entitlement is discriminating against us compared to every private sector worker in the UK

Another underhanded attempt to take away anything good that was left for the boys and girls on the front line.
