We, the undersigned, are concerned that the Sodexo Corporation will not live up to the moral, ethical, and operational standards of our institution. Specifically, the well-established history of Sodexo's unsavory business practices will tarnish our reputation and will compromise our core values: integrity, respect, excellence, and collaboration. We are fully committed to protecting that reputation, despite the threat the Sodexo Corporation poses our students, our staff, and our community at large.

As members of the Harper College faculty, we do not believe our institution should employ a company with a record of flagrant human-rights violations, pervasive racial discrimination, and poor-quality food. We strongly urge our administration and our board to uphold our college's values by re-thinking this contract with Sodexo.
