Say NO to SB 513 Deer Farming

I have been following this bill for months now and I thought it was defeated, but now I find out that it's being slipped in almost unnoticed. As a North Carolina sportsmen and conservationist I am against any type of deer farming in our state please vote NO to defeat this Bill finally.

Western deer population is already low in some counties. This would hurt the growth tremendously. And high fence is not hunting.

Deer farming is BAD NEWS!

Wanna see a bunch of pissed off hunters?! Let this bill pass and you will!

Myself as well as all other hunter should have a big say in this. This will change hunting in NC forever. Please listen.

Deer are wildlife, not cattle. Deer and all cervids should be monitored and regulated by the WILD LIFE RESOURCE COMMISSION, not the department of Agriculture.

Please sign this petition and encourage our governor to vote NO to deer farming!! This practice is known to breed diseases in deer and will virtually makes hunting inaccessible to the common man! Deer farming also goes against national wildlife models. Privatization of hunting is not a good idea!!!

This is a matter of urgency and must be stopped. I am teaching my kids to hunt and CWD could drastically and negatively change their possibility to carry on that tradition.
