My family and our neighbors are TOTALLY against this!! The traffic on this peninsula is already a nightmare. The infrastructure could not take that many more cars, or people. Not to mention we’d like the small town aesthetic seal of the peninsula. We don’t want high-rise condos here. If we did we would move to Nashville. These guys are from Jersey and don’t even live here and only care about making money! They don’t care about the people who actually live here.

This is a lake community and we don't need high rises where nature is our most important commodity. Build where there are already multi-family housing that won't impact the environment at the lake.

Zoning is in place for a reason. Rezoning should be done sparingly, if ever, or it is useless. When buying property, you know, or can find out, what the zoning is. Assuming you can get the zoning changed, is a gamble you take.

Quality of life is more important than quantity of life.
They knew what this zoning was when they bought it. They don’t have a right to change it.
Current zoning is there for a reason. The county/city decided somewhere along the way that zoning fit that area. Things do change, and there may come a time for reconsidering zoning. But it’s not a given, especially when we constantly have to raise property taxes around the county to pay for somebody else’s growth.
Our City leaders need to realize they have the control to demand quality development, development that is sustainable, demand that developers pay for the infrastructure needed to support all this new construction.

There is too much traffic on the peninsula already. In the event of an emergency (dam break, flooding, evacuation, etc.), there are only 2 ways off the peninsula. Lives of people who already live here would be in danger.

We do not want, or need this on our peninsula! The traffic is already terrible and this will only make it worse. For your information, 55 and older do drive! Go build your nasty high-rise building's in NY, NJ, Chicago, even Nashville, but keep them off of our peninsula!!!

Hendersonville does not need this further overcrowding and traffic issues this will bring. If these types of developments are allowed to continue then pretty soon the beauty of our city will be gone. I vote no to this development!

We purchased here because there was a relaxed small town feel. Putting in large condos does nothing for the quality of life for the correct residents. Please consider the limited resources (only two access roads, only 2 restaurants… which are packed all the time). I don’t want thousands of more people crowding our limited spaces. Please downscale this project - for the residents who own already.
