Repo lots and other businesses of this type near residences can change the character of the area. The potential for visual disruption caused by repo lots, often characterized by chaotic displays of vehicles in various states of disrepair, poses a risk to area aesthetics and may also negatively impact property values.

Not an acceptable use for this vacant lot at the location. Too near residential neighborhoods.

I don’t want cars/vans/trucks arriving in my neighborhood at all hours of the night.. Repo autos are usually done at night so the owners aren’t aware of their auto being towed away, it also is dangerous for all involved! Go to an area where ur not in the middle of a neighborhood!
There’s plenty of open space in many areas!!

Doesn’t belong in a residential area that will bring undesirable activity.

I strongly oppose this site being used as a repossession lot. It will drastically and negatively affect home and nearby undeveloped property values. This is not the highest and best use for this property as this area has been developed with higher valued residential properties and it does not fit into the residential area that it surrounds both across the street and behind the site. It will definitely have a significant and negative impact on the areas future development plans for undeveloped or redevelopment parcels that are still to be developed. As a resident of Orland Park and Cook County resident who lives very nearby I strongly urge the Zoning Board to deny this request for a repossession lot for the reasons cited.
