This type of business does not belong in this area. Repos happen 24 hours a day.The office may be open 8 hrs daily however Trucks bringing in repossessions will be all day and all night. This will make our neighborhood less secure. This being unincorporated means that the Cook County Sheriff’s Department would be called during a disturbance and the response time is definitely in question, thus raising safety concerns.

This is not a car dealership as the company representative wanted to depict at the town meeting in April. The New ownership of the site was very consistent in providing misleading and contradicting information to residents. Research of business shows it has many issues and negative impact on communities.

I do not want a repo lot outside my subdivision. I’m very concerned for the safety of our community. There is much violence that happens at a repo lot when people are upset about their property being taken away. Not a safe place for our children and families.

The area of this proposed lot is residential, the bus company was there before the area developed to a residential status. The county should locate it in an industrial area (there are plenty of empty buildings & parking lots ) so they do not affect Orland Park's safety & prioperty values!!

I strongly oppose the location of a lot to store repossessed vehicles being placed at 17101 S. Wolf Road. My reasons are: 1) Wolf Road is only a 3 lane road in throughout this area. It would be very dangerous to traffic on Wolf Road if this lot is allowed to be built. There will be tow trucks towing repossessed vehicles and having to turn into this lot, and the road is very narrow, without curbs and gravel on each side of the road, which could make turning into the lot hazardous to not only traffic, but for the tow trucks also; 2) I live within walking distance of that proposed lot, and I frequently walk in the area across the street with my grandchildren and my dogs. The increased traffic of tow trucks and possibly upset owners claiming their towed vehicles will greatly increase the traffic in the area and will cause traffic problems in an already busy area and on a very narrow road. 3) All of us that live in this area would like to keep our neighborhood as safe and quiet as possible, and avoid having possibly irate vehicle owners driving in our neighborhood to retrieve their vehicles. Thank you.
