I don't want a report lot on Wolf Road. We are hoping that the area would be cleaned out from the old buildings that are there m ow making them an eye sore.

For over 30 years, I have lived at 17131 Kropp Ct, directly across from the former K-Bros property at 17101 S Wolf Rd.
I strongly oppose the proposed use of this property as a "repo car lot." Since the new townhome development to our north removed all the trees and natural screening from Wolf Road, this lot is now fully visible from our home and backyard. Not only will this negatively impact our property value, but it will also contribute to ongoing flooding issues that frequently close Wolf Road during heavy rain. The previous bus barn development, which we also opposed, exacerbated this problem by raising the lot’s grade.
As I am unable to attend today’s meeting, I ask that you emphasize our firm opposition to this proposal. I am happy to provide photos if needed.
Thank you, as well as the board, for standing against this Cook County permit use. I strongly encourage the Village to consider purchasing the land for open space or recreational use—such as a park or pickleball courts—which would better serve our community.
