As a retired Police Officer, I am familiar with these impound lots and the negative aspects this type of business brings to a fine residential area that it is trying to be placed in. There will be tow trucks, car carriers and extra traffic on two lane Wolf Road surrounded by residential properties. These impound lots also attract after hour criminals looking to break into vehicles. This business will be an eyesore and a blight on the nearby community.
Cook County Building and Zoning owes the residents of this area safety, property value protection and environmental protection from so many vehicles being placed to close to Marley Creek which is a haven for so many wildlife species.
Please do not allow this business to be placed within our neighborhood, we unincorporated residents deserve a voice of what business is placed within our boundaries. This business belongs on an industrial area, not a neighborhood.
The Village of Orland Park would like to incorporate this entire area, give them a chance. This action will generate more tax revenue than an impound lot and increase property values.

This development would increase pollution and cancer risk in our community. I am totally opposed to this development.
