This side of the street is FINALLY, as of recent years, is being developed back to the calming strip it’s always been back when El Cortez was thriving. New store fronts, joeys, cleaned up that parking lot that must’ve have 0 oversight from the building and zoning… and now we want this?? one of the most prominent entrances from mokena into Orland.

I do not want this in my community. I believe there are many other better things that can be done with that space. Do not allow this

Absolutely not to the repo lot location. If should NOT be in the middle of all housing subdivisions. It needs a spot in a busy, well lit, much patrolled area. The potential for crime that comes along with that lot is unacceptable in our area. We pay a lot of taxes for the location we live in. Let's not lower the value of our property with this poor decision. There are many other more desirable businesses to put in that location.

Businesses of this type should not be allowed to conduct business this close to residential homes in those living in those homes, raising their families. Nothing can come good of this.

First, esthetically the proposed report lot lot at 171st and Wolf road in our beautifully landscaped village would be a eyesore and a tragedy. Secondly, the village's health concerns come into play with leaking oil into our ground and hurting those in the direct area (and I am one) who will see our property lose its grandeur and have a detrimental effect on what our property is worth. People will not buy homes in the area of this proposed lot. I vehemently denounce it's construction!

please keep this division a family oriented area and calm neighborhoods. We don’t wish to have such type of projects and businesses that can ruin the look, safety, and quality of the area. Also these kind of businesses will attract poor quality people who may lack the respect, decline knowledge of the area safety and increase hustles in the area

2025I strongly oppose this site being used as a repossession lot. It will drastically and negatively affect home and nearby undeveloped property values. This is not the highest and best use for this property as this area has been developed with higher valued residential properties and it does not fit into the residential area that it surrounds both across the street and behind the site. It will definitely have a significant and negative impact on the area's future development plans for undeveloped or redevelopment parcels that are still to be developed. As a resident of Orland Park and Cook County resident who lives very nearby I strongly urge the Zoning Board to deny this request for a repossession lot for the reasons cited.

We’ve lived here 27 years near 179 th and Wolf Road. The repo lot should not be directly across from a residential area.
