I fully indorse the views expressed by Ciara Byrne and I have listened to the views of Helen Bell but I feel that on this particular issue she has called it wrong. In saying that I am a Republican and I acknowledge and respect Helen’s right to express her view.

These men should be remembered in this kind of way for the ultimate sacrifice they gave for the freedom of their country

The people of the area will never, ever let the name be changed, in fact it's time the proper original PÁIRC RÉAMONN MAC RAOIS was returned to its rightful place.

I am so proud of what my father died for. I am proud of who he is, and everything that I am because of him. This park NEEDS to be named after him. So our future generation remembers his sacrifice.
