Say NO to proposed parking charges in Borth-y-Gest

As a local I enjoy parking there for an hour or two just to enjoy the place, as I am now retired.

What about the residents that have enough trouble parking already

Yes, charging for parking will make holiday makers park on the roads thus making it harder for locals to park near their homes, but also there are the visitors who need to park where there is a view. Not everyone who can't walk far has a disablement badge and to have to pay to park all the time will be so costly that many tourists will be unable to afford the area. Although tourists parking on the roads will be a nuisance to the local residents they will get it two fold if the holiday makers can't afford to visit.

We already have big problems parking outside our house during these months, this is will matters unbearable

This will destroy the village feeling

It's difficult enough to find parking already this will just make it worse! visitors will be looking to park outside local residents homes making them pay for parking in their own village

please sign and help the village

This scheme disadvantages the locals who live in Borthygest and will make life difficult for them.

The roads around the car park are always congested through the summer months, with people avoiding paying for the car park spots, the road side parking situation will only worsen for residents of that area

These proposals for charging will have a detrimental affect on our village and the local people have had no say in the matter
