The ministry has officially walked back the proposal and these dogs are safe. This outcome is entirely down to the thousands of people who saw through the nonsense and refused to stay quiet. I am truly humbled by what you all achieved together.

the dutch politic ' minister Van Dam' wants to ban all dogs that dont have a pedigree of the F.C.I - that includes for breeds like the pitbull terrier , american bulldog , american bully and few more. Offcourse that is nonsens and laws before have proven that that kind of rules have no impackt on the numbers of atacks done by dogs of all kind of breeds and no breeds.
Stop the hunt on no fci registrated dogs! Sign the petition for all these innocent dogs that ar about to get banned once more on base of looks!!

I am honestly overwhelmed by how many of you have stood up for these dogs so far. If we can reach one hundred signatures today it will show the minister that we are not going to be ignored.

Hier werden Rasselisten abgeschafft, zumindest gibts in Schleswig-Holstein und Niedersachsen keine mehr. Holland ist doch eigentlich fortschrittlich, das wäre ja ein Rückschritt ohne Gleichen. Keine Rasselisten bitte. Schaut lieber auf die Menschen am anderen Ende der Leine
Pitbulls are the most loyal,loving,trustworthy dogs in the world!! They are the only dogs I've owned in 30yrs.! I trust them with my children 150%!!! There is no reason the breed should be banned! Bad owners should be banned! As they should with any breed!!
My bulldog/staffordshire is the sweetest dog ever. She never attacks an human or animal. She has been bitten by a Shepherd and jack russels and didnt do anything back. Just only judge every dog and owner by their behaviour in private...

I never knew a dog WITH FCI-pedigree had no teeth... STOP discriminating!! Dogs of not FCI-recognised breeds are often much healthier than pedigree dogs, and healthy animals 'feel' better and are probably less prone to get aggressive than dogs with health issues!

Do the Dutch are following the bigotry and stupidity of the US and UK all based on stereotypes. Pit bulls and other breeds are no more dangerous than any other dogs and in fact there are far more abused/killed by people than vice versa and yet the people involve there rarely suffer any kind of punishment. These dogs are rescuers, search and rescue dogs, therapy dogs, police dogs-all in the US, and so much more. BSL is ineffective and only hurts innocent dogs and their people if they are lucky enough to have people. Stereotyping should never be considered acceptable no matter what specie is involved. In mind the seizing, imprisoning, and possible killing of such dogs are akin to the Holocaust when Jews were treated the same way. Open your minds and hearts and learn about them and meet them as individuals instead of lumping them together as one big, bad breed.

Wir kommen gerne in die Niederlande und waren sehr froh das bein Staffordterrier dort so sein darf, wie ein ganz normaler Hund was er auch ist! Also bitte findet eine andere Lösung für die Beißvorfälle! Nicht die Tiere sind schuld sondern, sondern die Halter
