I've seen for myself that many, many people are involuntarily committed who should not be, proven by the fact that the institutions hold them ONLY for the maximum period of time allowed before they must prove to a judge that the person actually has a 'mental disorder'. Meantime the industry has ruined a life BUT they have collected several thousands in fees to add injury to the insult. This scam must be curtailed, not increased.

This bill is a violation of basic human rights! We certainly don't need more people in the "Mental Health system" getting more dangerous, life-threatening drugs!

This is as bad as the Nazis were , this violates the Constitution and our Human Rights. My suggestion is that we involuntarily commit all those and the psychs that want this passed, see how they like it. Renata St Lawrence.

This is against basic human rights and constitutional rights. The government needs to actually come LOOK at what they are allowing to happen to their people. The Baker Act murders people and everyone needs to help stop this. Don't wait until it's too late; until it's you that is being "treated" by psychiatrists yet with no cure; when you realize you had the power to do something about it, and now you can't.
