We the undersigned are alarmed to hear that Hallmark Property Management - managing the Kennet Island Development on behalf of St James - seem to be trying to enforce a Pet Licence of £36 for each pet residing in a property. It also seems that they will enforce removal of that pet if a resident refuses to pay this fee.
There has been no consultation with residents or proper explanation given. As residents of Kennet Island, we insist that this harrassing action by Hallmark ceases immediately and that an attempt is made to work with residents to discuss any issues that they may have with pets so a mutually agreeable solution can be found.
The scale of this response is sufficient to move the conversation forward with Hallmark Property Management. I am currently drafting a formal letter to their regional director requesting a meeting to address the lack of resident consultation. Expect further updates once we receive a response regarding the proposed licensing fee.

Unbelievable. Talk to us first before pulling this nonsense. We pay enough in service charges already.

Absolutely not. They have no right to tell us what pets we can have especially for a fee that makes no sense. Stop trying to scam residents.

This is just a money grab plain and simple. My dog is part of my family and I shouldn't have to pay a tax to keep him in my own home. Ridiculous.

Where is this money even going? They provide zero services for pets here. Get lost Hallmark.
