Parking meter fee is too high.It is another burden on Guyanese people .The parking meter contract is a poor one,the country is benefiting very little from it.The contract appears to be a corrupt one.

I fully support this petition. Just to add to all the points listed. Many buildings that were erected from ground up in the city for the sole purpose of business were allowed to build and their building plans clearly didn't cater for parking why and how were those plans approved. (E.g. The two malls on regent just to list a few) Ok they have already built and no parking included... why aren't they included in bearing some of the burden for the cost of parking when they are there having many driving customers shopping daily. In the absence of adequate parking for customers Shouldn't there have been some sort of negotiations between the M&CC and them to help bear the burden of the cost for parking? I think it's only reasonable

im a businessman who works from 7 to that will cost me over 2000 $ a day in parking my customer will have to 50 the least to do a ten dallor copy this is a business killer project thank you

Paying the same rates (1 US dollar) per hour, the same as NYC in a city where the average monthly wage is 250 US dollars is OBSCENE!!
