This is a bloody abomination and total disregard for the people of Guyana? Why were these by-laws not shared with the citizenrry BEFORE they were hurriedly approved????

Simply costs too much for the average car owner working in the city

Guyana isn't ready for parking meters even more so, the very high fee assigned to parking. It's an outrageous decision which business people are paying heavily for. The government should consider that the private sector is what is keeping the country afloat. Rice and sugar are already preforming poorly. Agriculture is so heavily targeted and negatively impacted, now the businesses are sinking in deep waters. Oil isn't going to pull us out, did everyone forgot Venezuela? Or are we waiting on our turn?

I think that the parking meters contract should be terminated because it is greatly affecting the lives of all Guyanese. We are still a struggling economy give us a chance to grow and develop.

This is a hurried project that only places a deeper hole in the pockets of every Guyanese transacting business and woring in the city. Guyanese are already the lowest paid in the entire Caribbean. Simply put, we cannot afford this and I am 100 percent NOT in support of it.
