The Town Council has voted unanimously to withdraw the rezoning proposal for Pine Curve. This outcome confirms that our commitment to preserving the character of our downtown area was worth the effort. We should remain attentive to future development plans to ensure our community priorities continue to be respected.

Important Notice: We are pleased to note that on May 16, 2016, the Parker, Colorado, Town Council unanimously voted to withdraw the proposed rezoning completely.
We thank the Council for listening to the community and for taking this action.
We also thank all of you for your efforts to encourage the Council to rethink Pine Curve.
(Petition is open to all residents 18 or older of the Town of Parker, Colorado.)
To the Parker Colorado Mayor, Town Council and Planning Commission:
Rethink Pine Curve!
Don't Let Developers Destroy Parker Downtown!
- Don't rezone Pine Curve to allow gas stations, drive-thrus and 24/7 operations, along with a big box store.
- We don't want more traffic lights & traffic delays on East Mainstreet and Pine Drive.
- Keep gas stations, big box grocery stores and fast-food restaurants along Parker Road.
- Don't use Pine Curve to detract from the community atmosphere of historical downtown.

I moved here for the small town feel. If they keep building these massive stores downtown itll just be like every other generic city.
The traffic around mainstreet is already a nightmare during rush hour. Why would they add a big box store there?? Makes zero sense.
Parker is getting way too crowded. We dont need more gas stations on every single corner. Keep our downtown nice.
so glad this got stopped! pine curve is not the place for a drive thru. leave it alone.
KEEP PARKER LOCAL. Stop letting these developers ruin our town just to make a quick buck.
