I’ll just say that if “all lives matter,” this organization has anything but that motto in mind.

I am also very concerned that one of NSBLC’s founders, Kelly Kohl, has a personal social media account in which she repeatedly denigrates public schools. Why on earth would a public school board join this organization?

I do not support the goals/purpose/vision as outlined by the NSBLC. I hope the Board of Education is willing to have further discussions and reconsider the impact this will have on our students, our community, and our future leaders.

This is outrageous! Students with special needs are general education students FIRST and should be treated that way. There should be NO separation. Students with special needs are not a burden and should not be treated as such.

I am appalled to be asked to fill out a poll, asking whether I think a group based in fascism, discrimination, and rightwing propaganda ignorance should be affiliated with a public school district. As a former school social worker, it is very clear to me that this group will roll back the rights of special education students by about 50 years. This is absolutely disgusting.

Allendale has always been a bad place for disabled/alternative children, but this is a new low.

This is terrifying for all students. I actually can’t believe this exists. This is segregation and is bringing Allendale backwards, regressing into historical patterns of marginalization and hate. I truly thought people knew better than this.
