I have been reviewing the feedback regarding the proposed bell schedule and remain concerned about the impact on student transportation and sports. These accounts continue to confirm that the current plan overlooks the daily realities for families living in Kalaheo. I am currently preparing a formal letter to Superintendent Arakaki to present these specific concerns.

The response to this petition has been truly remarkable and proves that our community is deeply concerned about these schedule changes. This level of support ensures that our concerns will carry significant weight when presented to the superintendent.

Kids should be home, at this time of day Where's there time for themselves & freinds, homework, ??? School during the day is hot teachers don't do anything What about those kids have medical issues? Are you guys really thinking about our kids? Pissed off !!!
I say NO to this! Why change the time when I see there is no problem! The children need sports in their life it keeps them motivated and build self esteem.
Kids who are in sports will never make practice on time and kids coming from Lawai area will have long days possibly start at 5am and not getting home till almost 5pm. This is not far for our kids.
Dont punish our kids. By doing this you will take away all their sports activities and they will be in school longer than the teachers. Their schedule now is working fine. Why do you guys always feel the need to fix something that isn't broken?
I oppose the schedule change. Smaller class sizes so that teachers get more concentrated interaction with students will benefits students more than these crazing long days at school where the quality of education isn’t improving. You are wasting their time on campus.

Totally ridiculous, wanna work it out for the students get rid of those A and B days and make everyday 6 periods. Stick to what we grew up with cause it sure worked great.
