Waimea Canyon’s proposed new bell schedule will start school daily at 7:45 am, and alternate ending school at 3:15 pm and 1:15 pm. Teachers will have staggered start and end times, meaning our kids will be in school longer than Teachers! Student who live in Kalaheo and ride bus, will get home after 4:30 pm, meaning no afterschool sports! Please sign our petition so we can send to our Complex Area Superintendent Bill Arakaki to STOP this new schedule, our kids need sports and should NOT be subjected to such a long school day!
