Cut into all the ridiculous medians and make middle lanes if you would like to make biking/walking paths, do not reduce thoroughfare for traffic. That's insane, a waste of taxpayer dollars and will place too high a burden on we residents simply to improve visitors experience. No No No!

NO TO NARROWING 41 IN NAPLES! Some of us who are full time residents are tired of the pandering to part timers & tourists who want the town to be altered to so they can have an easier walk/bike home from happy hour! Leave it alone! It’s fine the way it is. You’re going to make it tougher on police, fire, and other 1st responders.

Narrowing of any street whether it is the city of Naples or any other city leads to side street pick up traffic, look at other cities that have done something similar. I believe this is not in the best interest of the residents. We do know however, who benefits. The entire purpose of elected officials is to do the will of the people. A collective body which represents those it serves. The narrowing of 41 does not serve the residents.
This topic has been around for a long time, frankly I am tired of having it brought up. Take it off the table and move on to more productive things.

I live on 7th Ave North and the traffic on it is already bad. Having more people cutting through to avoid the bottle neck narrowing will cause puts more strain on the residents that live on 7th Ave and 10th Street North. This makes no sense at all.

I remember when US 41 had parking and it was determined years ago that the traffic needed to use the parking lane for driving. this is stupid to now try to narrow US 41 with even more traffic.

41 cannot handle the traffic volume in season with a lane reduction. It will cause increased traffic on adjacent roads through neighborhoods

This makes NO sense! If we want to encourage tourism and business to one of the highlights of our town, why would we make it MORE difficult to get to Fifth Ave. by narrowing 41? Traffic is horrendous as it is. NO TO NARROWING!
